What I want this Christmas!

It’s the time of the year where millions of children write letters to Santa. Yes, I am talking about Christmas.

Christmas is just around the corner and I am sure children are waiting for their desired gifts from Santa Claus. It’s not only about children these days but adults are intrigued about “Santa Claus” too. Some of them actually write letters to Santa Claus.

Let me tell you my secret, which will not be a secret anymore. I write letters to Santa each year. I know this must have taken you aback. But it is true. But this time, I didn’t ask for any gifts for myself. I asked for a gift for the world.

I wrote my heart out to Santa like the many children who have written about getting a vaccine for the coronavirus disease. We all want to step out and give a warm hug with no sanitizers to use.

We all want to travel and spend time with our families without masks. We all want to be free from this pandemic. We all want the coronavirus disease to cease once and for all.

No struggles and no battles, after all, these are difficult times. So, my letter to Santa was for a gift to the world where there are peace, joy and happiness.

I want us all to be in good health. Moreover, I want something that each one of us desires the most, and that is the pandemic to end. I want the vaccine to heal the people so that they will find their strength again.

I want all of our Christmases to be pandemic-free with just love and hope all around.

Do I want a lot?

Or do I want what everyone wants?

Well, all I want is happiness for this world and here’s hoping for an awesome pandemic-free Christmas day celebration.
